The Red Rector Project
Red Rector was considered to be one of the greatest mandolin players in the world. His masterful playing and singing can be heard on recordings by Charlie Monroe, Reno & Smiley, Hylo Brown, Carl Story, and many, many more. The Red Rector Mandolin Project is a tribute to Red. Coming soon, we’ll be releasing a series of videos playing songs Red recorded using Red’s own 1921 Gibson A4 mandolin.
